"I love the Aura Pearls collection, because some of the colors are more vibrant than the pastels that Pair normally offers in pearl form. This one does not disappoint! It's a vivid amethyst shade (probably closer to amethyst than the lavender color they named Amethyst), a bit too red-toned to be called royal purple, but similar color intensity. It's lighter and brighter than the Deep Purple Shimmer, partly because the pearl pattern makes patches appear lighter, but the base color itself is also lighter. Pair doesn't have that many premium purple options, and most of them are pastel. This is a great addition for those who love brighter colors!"
